Create your Gamanee account
Everything you need to book stays, save places, and manage trips across Sri Lanka — set up in under five minutes.
- A verified Gamanee account you can sign in to with email or phone
- A personal account portal with your profile, saved places, and bookings
- The starting point for becoming a host later, if you want to
Open Gamanee and choose Sign up
From any page on Gamanee, open the account menu at the top right of the header and choose Sign up. You can also go straight to gamanee.com/auth/signup.
If you were sent here by a booking link, sign-up returns you to the page you started from once your account exists.
Pick how you want to sign up
Gamanee supports two direct methods — Email and Phone — switchable with the tabs above the form. Email creates a password-protected account; Phone verifies you with a one-time code sent by SMS.
In a hurry? The buttons under “Or continue with” let you sign up with an existing Google, Facebook, or Microsoft account instead — no new password to remember.
Fill in the form and create the account
For email sign-up, complete the three fields, tick the agreement box, and press Create Account.
- Email address — you will verify this in the next step, so use one you can open
- Password — at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a special character
- Confirm password — retype it exactly
- Tick “I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy”
The form points out exactly which rule a password is missing, so if the button rejects your input, read the message under the field.
Verify your email (or enter the SMS code)
Email sign-ups receive a verification link in their inbox — open it to confirm the address. You are signed in right away, but verifying unlocks the full account.
Phone sign-ups skip this: enter the 6-digit code that arrives by SMS and the account is created verified.
No verification email after a couple of minutes? Check the spam folder first — automated mail sometimes lands there.
Sign in whenever you come back
Use gamanee.com/auth/signin with your email (or username) and password. Social accounts sign in with the same provider buttons they signed up with.
Forgot the password? The “Forgot password?” link on the same page emails you a reset link.
Explore your account portal
Once signed in, open the account menu and choose Profile. Everything about your account lives here:
- Personal info — name, bio, photo, and contact details
- Notifications — choose how booking updates reach you
- Saved places — every listing you have hearted around the site
- My bookings — upcoming and past stays with full details
- Security & account — sign-in methods and account deletion
