Become a host on Gamanee
Register your property or restaurant, pass verification, and run everything — listings, reservations, payouts — from the host portal.
- A submitted host application with your identity, services, and payout details
- An approved host account once the Gamanee team reviews it
- A working tour of the host portal: dashboard, listings, calendar, and profile
Before you start
Hosting starts from a normal Gamanee account — if you do not have one yet, follow the account guide first. Then click “Become a Host” in the site header (or go to gamanee.com/host) and the five-step registration wizard opens.
Registration goes fastest when these are within reach:
- Clear photos of the front and back of your NIC, passport, or driving licence (PNG or JPG, up to 5 MB each)
- A bank passbook photo or statement as payout proof
- The phone number you answer — guests and the Gamanee team will use it
Your progress is kept per step, and you can leave the wizard with Exit and return later — but have the documents ready and one sitting is enough.

Step 1 of the wizard — Identity
Choose your operating region (Sri Lanka is live today; more regions are coming), confirm your name, and verify your identity with a document.
Pick the document type — National Identity Card, passport, or driving licence — enter its number, and upload photos of the front and back. NIC numbers must be 9 digits followed by V or X, or exactly 12 digits.

Step 2 — Phone
Add the primary phone number guests and support can reach you on. Sri Lankan numbers use the +94 prefix followed by the 9-digit number.
You can add extra numbers — a reception desk, a manager — and order them; the primary number stays the one that matters for verification.

Step 3 — Services and public profile
Tell guests what you offer and how your hosting brand appears across the site.
- Service types — Accommodation, Food, or both (you can add listings for each later)
- Host display name — the public brand guests see on your listings, e.g. your villa or restaurant name
- Bio and languages — a short introduction and the languages you host in

Step 4 — Business details (optional)
If you operate as a registered business, add the business name, type, and registration number here, with supporting documents if you have them.
Hosting as an individual? Leave the toggle off and continue — this step is genuinely optional and does not slow down approval.

Step 5 — Bank account and terms
Payouts for your bookings land in the account you register here: account holder name, bank, branch, and account number, plus a passbook photo or statement as proof.
Read and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then press Submit. Your application goes to the Gamanee review team.
The account holder name should match your identity document — mismatches are the most common reason a review takes longer.

Approval — what happens next
After submission your application shows as under review. The Gamanee team checks your identity document and payout details, and you are notified as soon as a decision is made.
Until approval, visiting gamanee.com/host shows your pending status. Once approved, the same address opens the full host portal.
Sign in as a host
There is no separate host login — sign in with your normal account at gamanee.com/auth/signin, then open gamanee.com/host. Approved hosts land on the dashboard; everyone else is routed to registration or their pending status automatically.

Your dashboard at a glance
The dashboard greets you with the numbers that matter — lifetime earnings, bookings, active listings, and guest rating — plus quick actions for the everyday moves: add a listing, review reservations, open the calendar, answer messages.
The left rail is the map of the whole portal: Stays and Eats under Listings, Reservations, Calendar and Inbox under Bookings, Earnings under Payments, and your Profile under Account.

Create and manage listings
Stays is where your accommodation listings live — press New listing (or the dashboard's Get started) to open the listing wizard: property details, rooms and spaces, photos, amenities, and pricing.
Every listing you publish appears here with its status, so you always know what is live on the marketplace.

Run availability from the calendar
The reservations calendar controls what guests can book: select a day for a quick edit, or drag across a range to block dates, set nightly rates, or adjust minimum stays in bulk.
Sri Lankan holidays and poya days are marked right on the grid, so peak-demand dates never take you by surprise.

Keep your host profile current
The Profile page holds everything you registered with — public brand, contact numbers, verification documents, and payout account — and it is where you update them as things change.
That is the full loop: application, approval, listings, calendar, payouts. Welcome to hosting on Gamanee.
